Vermihumin is a universal organic fertilizer, intended to be used particularly for vegetables, fruit-bearing trees, grapevine, strawberries, potatos and cereal crops, but also for fertilizing flower beds, ornamental shrub and trees as well as lawns. The fertilizer is made through compostation of biological matter with californian worms. Part of the fertilizer is made by Tenebrio molitor grubs.
Usage:
Spread the fertilizer evenly over the area and work it into the soil (by hand or with a machine); when applying as a top-dressing, work it shallowly into the soil.
Dosage:
For initial fertilization, we recommend using 1.5–2.5 kg per 10 m². Apply additional fertilizer approximately once a month at a rate of 0.1–1 kg per 10 m². Determine the application rate based on the soil’s nutrient reserves, the plant species, and their nutrient requirements.
The maximum application rate is 2 kg of dry matter per m² over a 3-year period.
Application time:
The fertilizer is used for initial fertilization before planting or, if necessary, for supplemental fertilization during the growing season.
