Coniferous wood chips are used for mulching in ornamental gardens—around shrubs, trees, hedges, and flowerbeds, as well as on paths and slopes. They are also suitable for covering planters and pots, and for other decorative applications in indoor and outdoor areas. Before applying the chips, loosen the soil, remove weeds, and apply a nitrogen-based fertilizer.
Chemical and physical properties:
Moisture content: max. 70% by weight
Combustible matter in dried sample: min. 80% by weight
pH value (aqueous extract): 4.5 to 6.8
The decorative wood chips are made from high-quality coniferous wood.
