This professional substrate for azaleas and rhododendrons is composed of a blend of high-quality white Baltic peat—harvested via the sod method and processed to a medium-to-coarse texture—and a multi-component mineral fertilizer with trace elements. The required acidity level is adjusted, as necessary, by adding a small amount of finely ground dolomitic limestone. Its structure ensures good aeration for the plant roots and excellent water retention. It promotes healthy root system development, thereby facilitating optimal nutrient uptake from the soil.

Characteristics:
This professional substrate for azaleas and rhododendrons is composed of a blend of high-quality white Baltic peat—harvested via the sod-cutting method and processed to a medium-to-coarse grain size—and a multi-component mineral fertilizer with trace elements. Acidity levels are adjusted as necessary through the addition of a small amount of finely ground dolomitic limestone. Its structure ensures good aeration for plant roots and excellent water retention. It promotes healthy root system development, thereby facilitating optimal nutrient uptake from the soil.
Scope and method of use:
Use the substrate without any additives when repotting or cultivating indoor azaleas and outdoor rhododendrons. Mixing in approximately 10% silica sand (grain size 3–4 mm) is recommended. Once the planted or repotted plants have taken root, regularly replenish nutrients by applying a multi-component mineral fertilizer containing trace elements. Repeat fertilization 2–3 times during the growing season. Maintain a proper watering regimen; use soft water (free from excessive calcium salts) whenever possible—collected rainwater works too.
